Jordan Brand brought back the Air Jordan 12 earlier this summer with the re-release of the “Nubuck” Jordan 12’s. JB is far from finished with the silhouette this year with a couple more releases coming before the end of the year. One of these is the “ Rising Sun” Air Jordan 12 which pays homage to the source of inspiration Tinker Hatfield received when designing the first Air Jordan shoe that was part of the Jordan Brand franchise. Perforations on alternating panels give the subtle tie to the Rising Sun flag of Japan as well as details on the insole. Available this summer exclusively in Asia, Johnsonwas inspired by the principles of Yin & Yang found in traditional Chinese culture. Beginning with the dualities of season in mind, graphic illustrations of Rain (Yin) and Sun (Yang) can be found along the medial sides of the shoes, wrapping over from the lateral collar. Other touches along the shoe include the use of the grey snakeskin patent leather, which pays tribute to the the Chinese Zodiac, as well as the translucent green outsole, which is inspired by the Chinese “Imperial Gem” Jade. Official details regarding the release of the Air Jordan Hall of Fame Pack have finally been announced. As we know already there will be an Air Jordan 1 , an Air Jordan 2009 and a Jordan 6 Rings in the Hall of Fame Pack. Each of the three sneakers will be made available at select Jordan Brand retailers on September 5th, 2009, the same month in which Michael Jordan and two of his former Dream Team teammates will be inducted into the NBA Hall of Fame. All sneakers in the pack will be sold indiviually and we’re sure they will be pretty popular among Air Jordan collectors so make sure you head out early on the 5th to get yours. Earlier today, we showed you the Nike Air Elan White/White , and now we have photos of the Nike Air Elan Black/Black. This particular Air Elan features an all-black premium leather. Two weeks ago we took a look at a Jordan Campus Chukka which will be releasing in August as part of Jordan Brands Summer 2009 Releases. To our surprise the Campus Chukka actually turned into a somewhat popular seller, regardless of their $110 price tag. Featured are two more upcoming Jordan Campus Chukka colorways which will hit retailers as part of the Fall 2009 Collection. One of the Campus Chukkas sports an all grey colorway while the other yields an all black colorup. Both versions have an upper constructed from premium leathers with the grey version having an elephant print on the midsole and the black pair having an all black sole unit giving the black pair a complete blacked out finish from top to bottom. Watch for both of the black and the grey Jordan Campus Chukka to hit Jordan Brand retailers during the Fall of 2009.

After already having her chance to take part in the Nike 1World Air Force One campaign, Feride Uslu, founder of Uslu Airlines, teams up with Reebok on her latest footwear collaboration. We are told Feride Uslu has designed atleast two sneakers with Reebok, one of them being a Reebok Retroball and the other being this Courtee Mid. At first glance the sneakers appear to have a completely white base with an interlocking all-over print throughout the upper in beige. However, when the night sky rolls in the Courtee Mid takes on a whole different look and the glow-in-the-dark elements come to life with the beige pattern throughout the upper turning neon green. No official release date has been announced at this time but the sneakers are expected to be released around the end of the 1st quarter of 2010 (March-April).
