Many probably learned about Curren$y from last November’s XXL cover story and his work with Mr. F Baby, but he’s been in the game for almost a decade putting in work and paying dues. From his stints with two of the biggest labels to ever come out of New Orleans to the countless mixtapes to his recently released solo debut, This Ain’t No Mixtape , it was only a matter of time for the one they call The Hot Spitta. He’s also got Fly Society, a clothing jump-off he started with pro skater Terry Kennedy, which is already making noise on the streets. Of course, we wouldn’t be interested in Curren$y if he didn’t have a proper kick game. We got a chance to ask him some questions about his favorite sneakers and recent purchases. Maybe some of the readers could even help him find a pair.

Today Topshop launched its collaboration collection with fashion illustrator Barbara Hulanicki. Barbara worked as a freelance illustrator covering fashion collections for Women’s Wear Daily and British Vogue. She started the store Biba, which was a world famous England based company dominating the fashion scene in the 60′s and 70′s. Her collection for Topshop includes a lot of fun illustrations.

Jennifer Lopez at the Oscar de la Renta show. J Lo wore fall 2008 Alexander McQueen bejeweled pumps featuring a 4.5 inch heel and jeweled, silk vamp. The shoes are available at the Alexander McQueen online website for $995.

At Michael Kors Spring 2009, Blake Lively from Gossip Girls was decked in, what else, head to toe Michael Kors. The lattice A dress is available at Netaporter while Michael Kors’ patent ‘Candi’ double ankle strap pumps are at Zappos.

Lindsay Lohan arrived at the Samantha Ronson show in these hot blue Chloe peeptoes, which are selling at Saks (for forest green only) for $585.

Mary Kate Olsen loves the knee high, bondage, gladiator inspired look (seen in Chanel here). So it came as no surprise that Mary-Kate wore these Spring 2008 Givenchys at the DVF fashion show.

Finally, Nicole Richie was rocking these suede with zipper pull Pierre Hardy pumps. They are 675 euros at Luisaviaroma.

New for Spring…off the shoulder loose boyfriend tees. The ultimate in relaxation and comfort. Although I am not sure if these will work on every body shape. If you have wide shoulders they tend to look too boxy. Styles shown Free People.
