Obviously, the Staple x New Balance 575 “White Pigeon” is the New Balance sneaker receiving the most attention currently. However, as sneaker enthusiasts, we cannot let lesser known releases sneak past us. With that said, this New Balance 580 colorway will release during the 2009 holiday season. While not possessing some of the unmatched qualities the aforementioned New Balance 575 “White Pigeon”, this particular 580 model features its own set of eye-catching details. The base is made up of a predominately grey leather/mesh base with minimal hot pink accents seen on the heel tab, sole tongue logo and the side panel logo.

“Who is the better player?” and “Who should be MVP?” have plenty of supporters on both sides in the LeBron vs. Kobe debate. There is one debate where LeBron supporters have had constant and undisputed bragging rights though: “Which signature kicks come in a better box?” While the Kobe line has stayed with the basic orange Nike boxs, the LeBron line, beginning with the Zoom LeBron II, has had its own packaging. And the Air Max LeBron VII is no exception. It remains to be seen if this season’s Kobe will step up its presentation,but for now at least, LeBron fans still have the upper hand. Some new images of Jordan Brands latest Air Jordan Force Fusion have made their way to the internet, a Fusion model which has nauseated many Air Jordan fans, specially those who happen to have a love for the AJ 13. We caught some peaks of the Air Jordan Fusion 13 shown here in the white/black/varsity red colorway quite a few times but now thanks to the sneakers becoming available on MarqueeSole we have a few clear crisp images. Personally speaking, i can get down with the upper, although im not 100% on the toe-box. The major down point in the sneakers for me is the mid-sole which is made to look as if it has the pods from the Air Jordan 13. Thats just my opinion though, eventhough the feedback online seems to label these as the “worst Air Jordan Fusion design” there are quite a few folks who are diggin the design. As all Jordan fans should know by now the Air Jordan XI ‘Space Jam’ Retro will be re-issued later this year as a quickstrike release. Since the news hit the net we have caught some preview images here and there but now thanks to FlightClub we have a few more shots of sample Space Jam Air Jordan XI. The sneakers will feature the classic black mesh and black patent leather upper with a white mid-sole and an translucent outsole. Accents of blue are applied to the sole as well as the Jumpman logo on the side of the upper. At the end of February, photos of Kanye West sporting a never-before-seen New Balance 997.5 surfaced on the web. Many of you really liked them and consistently asked when the release date would be. Although that is still unknown, we have now received news about a similar colored New Balance 998 that will release during the holiday season. This particular 998 model was created specifically by the New Balance designers in Skowhegan, Maine. As for the makeup of this sneaker, it is comprised of dark grey/neutral grey premium leather and suede on the base mixed with a purple sole.

Jordan Brand is celebrating his sixty point games in a number of releases this year, but none make quite as much of a statement as an entirely new silhouette, the Jordan Sixty Plus , created to honor his historic games. Much like the Jordan 6 Rings was composed of the 7 Air Jordans MJ wore en route to his six NBA Championships, the Jordan Sixty Plus is composed of the models Jordan wore in the games he put up 60+. The models represented by the Jordan Sixty Plus include the Air Jordan 1, Air Jordan 2, Air Jordan 5, and the Air Jordan 7. This holiday season the Jordan Sixty Plus is coming in several colorways that are inspired by teams that received the 60+ point beat down from Jordan. TY from Leaders has given us an look at an interesting pair of Nike Sky Force samples known as Tecmo Bowl. The shoes sport a mostly all black upper which has been highlighted with silver giving the sneakers a classic Oakland Raiders color scheme. Around the silver Nike Swoosh theres a splash of silver which is done up to look as if its pixelated. I cant be sure by judging from these pictures but the white midsole appears to have green stitching. We arent quite sure at this time if the Nike Sky Force ‘Tecmo Bowl’ will officially be release but we will be sure to keep you posted on any updates so keep it locked to Sneaker Obsession. The full-height cuff is indicative of high-profile style and this time around, comes prepared with an eye-catching reptilian pattern. Along with the green reptile pattern the upper on the sneakers use smooth black suede and soft leather in black, yellow and white. Back in March we took a look at some renders of one of Jordan Brands latest fusion designs, the Air Jordan Fusion XIII (13) . A few months have passed and finally some official images have surfaced online. Obviously the Air Jordan Fusion XIII combines the classic Air Jordan 13, one of my favorite sneakers of all time, with the Air Force One. As you can see 3/4ths of the upper comes from the AJ 13 with a toe-box and frontal from an Air Force One. The sole unit comes straight from the Air Force Ones and is designed in a way which trys to imitate the pods that were on the 13s. The strap which as been added into the design includes the use of the the same dimples used on the upper. In my opinion Jordan Brand is truly ruining some classics with this whole Force Fusion line

Valentino designers Pier Paolo Piccioli and Maria Grazia Chiuri were former accessory designers. Accessory designers tend to pay attention to the smallest of details becuse their creation is so much smaller than the overall outfit. The attention to the smallest of details showed in this line.
