Video: NBA 2K11 – The Greatest is Back words_Brandon Richard Often labeled as basketball’s greatest competitor, Michael Jordan never hides the fact that he misses being able to compete at the highest level in the game he loves. Vindication is on the way! Well…sort of. We’ve all heard about MJ’s highly publicized return to video game consoles as the face of NBA 2K11. The game, which features a rare virtual appearance from His Airness, is slated to drop in October. To help build the buzz (as if it were needed), 2KSports recently released this teaser clip of Jordan in the game. Puma give’s a nod to the blue-collar workers busting their hump day after day in what’s known as the Workman Pack. The pack features brown and black leather versions of the Puma Mid and Puma Clyde, all of which sit atop a solid white sole unit. To add some contrast to the otherwise tonal upper’s, a grey cloth with red and black pinstripes was stitched up around the ankle of the Mid’s and used on the inner lining of the Clyde’s. New Balance has released a number of exquisite sneakers this year including the “Desert Storm” 1500 , the “Covent Garden” Pack and the “Sonic Weld” Pack . However, New Balance will go in a totally different direction by unleashing its Pro Collection this fall/winter season. The New Balance Pro Collection consists of two New Balance Pro high-tops and two low-cut Pro sneakers. The high-tops, shown above, feature 100% canvas-textured constructions with old-fashioned, vintage hints such as the sole and the New Balance logo on the side panels. The low-cut New Balance Pros feature the same design scheme and come in colors such as black and white.
