The Notebook Nike Air Max returns for another year in the Nike Back to School Pack for 2009. There is however a few slight differences, its starters its a different model from the Air Max lineup. This year the Notebook design has been used on the Nike Air Max Wright instead of the Air Max 90 CL used last year. The design is also white and blue compared to the black and white last year. Its nice to see Nike has decided to use a white/blue colorway on this notebook design cause it gives kids an alternative color choice over the Purple Notebook Nike Dunks we took a look at the other day. No official release date is available just yet but we suspect the sneakers to be hitting retailers within the coming weeks.

Finally we get our first look at some detailed photos of one of the highly talked about Air Jordan Spiz’ike Boots . The Spiz’ike which was originally design my Spike Lee but at this time we arent sure if Spike had in say in the design of the Spiz’ike boot. They do however carry over a lot of the key elements used on the original Spiz’ike design such as the triangular lace holders from the AJ4, the lace lock and mesh from the AJ5, and the tongue of the AJ6. The Air Jordan Spiz’ike boot shown here has a dark cinder upper in a rich blend of nubuck and other leather finishes. Around the toe and the heel you have the every popular elephant print which was a popular feature on the Spiz’ike, or just about any other Air Jordan for that matter. The mid-sole is solid black and features a visible air unit in the heel and the outsole is identical to the original Spiz’ike, keeping the printed Jordan in the heel.

FootLocker has reported that the release date of the Home version Nike Zoom Kobe IV Finale Edition has been bumped back. The sneakers now officially wont hit House of Hoops until Saturday, July 25th. If you were planning on trying to get your hands on a pair of these at HOH please take note of the new release date. Nike is in the works of reconstructing their classic Nike Blazer in a way could change the feelings of many on the design of the Blazers. Nike has added a rubber toe guard to the sneakers which doesnt look to bad when your looking at the outer side of the upper as shown above. However, when you flip the sneakers around and take a look at the inner side of the upper the rubber toe guard extends further back on the upper which in my opinion throws off the whole design for me. The version seen here sports a white upper made up premium leather with a navy blue Nike Swoosh, a black heel tab and purple Nike branding on the heel tab. Just a while back here at BayAreaKicks.com we featured the AC/DC x Converse for their all-star roster of rock bands limited edition sneakers. And released this month was their team up with the biggest heavy metal of all time, Metallica. They have also come up with 2 designs like the AC/DC. Metallica versions are more branded with the band’s logo. And first up is the black Chuck Taylor with the bands name on the upper heel and a simple all white version which features an illustration on the side, a twisted voodoo doll skull illustration which were extended all the way down the bottom of the midsole.

Michael Lau, a Hongkong designer has collaborated again with Nike to come up with this Air Force I Premium “Un-Michael Lau”. This kick features both classic and stylish design. It is made up of white upper that perfectly blends with the traditional gum sole that created a classic look. However, to give a little twist, the panels are constructed with quilted pattern making it a stylish shoe. This latest AF1 “Un-Michael Lau” will soon be available at your favorite retailers. A few days ago we took a look at the Nike Dunk Low – Hot Red / Volt which you may remember included a volt colored outsole and a metallic silver midsole. We have just spotted another Nike Dunk Low using the same volt colored outsole and metallic silver midsole. However this time the upper of the sneakers are made up of grand purple. On heel panel features a tonal splatter design which is a little easier to see on this dark colorway seeing as how we missed it when checking out the hot red version and just had to go back to look for it. Im not quite sure when they will be hitting retailers in the US but they are available now at Size?

The last Air Max Light we featured was the White/Fresh Water Nike Air Max Light way back in June but this newest colorway to drop defiantly deserves a little attention. They consists of neutral grey suede panels, light grey suede panels and white mesh panels, along with max orange textile panels and visible air unit accenting the sneakers. No official release date for the US is available at this time however they are now available overseas at Overkill .
