The adidas ZX 5000 , a sneaker that first released in 1989, hasn’t been released as much as other adidas silhouettes; however, it is considered a classic and is now available in a vibrant color scheme at select retailers worldwide. This particular pair, which is nicknamed the ‘Blue Beauty’, contains Torsion technology, an attribute that has been applied to a lot of adidas sneakers as of late. Soraya Yd For For Ronnie Fieg x Asics Gel Lyte III – “The Cove” words_Brandon Richard Six months ago, Ronnie Fieg found himself on a head-clearing vacation in the Bahamas. While at “The Cove,” a prestige resort located in the Atlantis Bahamas, Ronnie took in the scenery, and wanted to express the awe-inspiring visuals through his favorite sneaker silhouette. The result of that inspiration is his latest Asics Gel Lyte III collaboration, nicknamed “The Cove.” To capture the beauty of his latest sneaker, Fieg took a trip to Aruba, where he set up a photo shoot with Colombian model Soraya Yd . On a private beach, he used his father’s 26-year old film Nikon FG to capture the scenery around Soraya and his new shoe. Of all of his Asics Gel Lyte III collaborations, he says this is his favorite to date, so expect big things from this release. Release information and product photos are expected shortly. Despite any fun that I might have had at Versace’s expense in the past, I really, really want the brand to get through its growing pains and come out the other side making beautiful accessories. Few labels have the kind of global name recognition that Versace enjoys, and it would make the accessories market as a whole much richer for Versace to find its voice and become a real player in the handbag game. If it keeps making bags like the Versace Hilary Satchel , there’s hope for the brand yet. Instead of the over-the-top, mismatched styling that we’ve seen from the brand in the past, this bag’s design has been edited down to just the parts necessary to keep some of the Versace attitude. Most of that comes by way of the round hardware motif that dots the front of the bag, but it doesn’t distract at all from the beautifully textured and glazed purple leather underneath. Instead of having multiple colors, patterns and types of hardware compete with each other, this bag’s elements all work work together. It’s not often that I see a Versace bag and think, wow, I would totally be able to work that in to my wardrobe, but that’s exactly the reaction I had to this bag. Medium-to-dark purple is a rich color that looks great against black and grey for winter, and it provides a bit of color to an outfit without looking season-inappropriate during colder weather. The abundance of hardware is typical of the Versace aesthetic, but in this iteration it doesn’t take away from the beauty of the leather or compete with the overall design. It fits.

They’re very happy with the handbag as we know it, and their designs celebrate the essential need that we all have to carry our belongings, combined with our desire to do so with a beautiful sartorial object. The Tod’s Ivy Sacca Media Shoulder Bag is just that – a beautiful, simple object that performs its essential function without fuss or bother. For those who love Hermes but simply cannot afford to spend Hermes prices, a Tod’s bag like this one is perhaps the best alternative on the luxury mass-market. I make the Tod’s/Hermes comparison because of this design’s emphasis on the beauty of the bag’s material. The putty-colored, pebbled Italian leather takes center stage, just as the unique and detailed leathers do on so many Hermes bags. And when you’re using leather as nice as both brands generally do, there’s no reason to guide the emphasis elsewhere.
