The Nike Air Max LeBron VII carousel continues to make its way across the China region. Its latest stop was held in the city of Shanghai. Do not think for a second that the Air Max LeBron VII will be going away anytime soon. As with the previous city Air Max LeBron VII colorways, this particular shoe also possesses the white/green colorway that is inspired by LeBron’s high school, St. Vincent St. Mary’s. However, the Shanghai version, which represents “Family”, contains other minimal inspirations from LeBron’s hometown. For example, a picture of Akron’s city limit sign is featured on the quarter panel and on the tongue. Before you know it, there will be a Jordan sneaker for every one of Spike Lee’s movies. Keeping with the tradition of the “Do The Right Thing” AJF 4 “Cement Grey” Fusions we showed you recently, these two Air Jordan 1 High models pay tribute to Spike’s 1988 “School Daze.” The Jordan 1 High Strap takes its colorway right from the movie poster. The yellow swoosh contrasts nicely with the white and purple leather base. We know a lot of you are tired of Jordan 1 releases, but these work nicely, owing their theme and colors to a classic film. The other Jordan 1, a strapless High, draws inspiration from the fraternity Gamma Phi Gamma, the fraternity for whom character “Half-Pint” pledged. The clean black and grey leather colorway looks great, especially if you and your brothers are locked in a step battle, just like in the film. While these releases may be battling for attention against a ton of other 1’s released recently, the inspiration may just make these a great back to school pick-up. Just “flipped” through the online Toast catalogue and it made me even more excited about dressing for the fall. I’m trying to wear more dresses this season, instead of my normal uniform of trouser jeans and a fitted top, and Toast is giving me lots of good ideas.

While the time of “it” bags is surely over, there are still hit bags that continue to grab our attention each season. Last year we were all handbag-star-struck by the Chloe Paraty bag . First spotted on Katie Holmes , the bag could not stop generating buzz. Who is it by? When it is available? Is there a wait list? Everyone had to have this particular Chloe Bag . I still love this bag and prefer it in python, like all of the hot stars continue to sport. The color of choice is black python (pictures of Rachel Zoe continue to surface with her sporting hers). When this handbag came out it caught our attention, it drew us in, and we all were loving it.

As we all know, whenever DJ Clark Kent personally designs an Air Force 1 (see Starks Nike Air Force 1 Hyperstrike ), it is sure to be nothing less than a very fresh design. With that said, a photo of DJ Clark Kent’s Air Force 1 for the upcoming “East Vs West Rivalry” Pack has surfaced on the web. Due the limited photo, we cannot relay every detail from this shoe; however, we can figure out a few things about this shoe. First off, it owns a multiple textures on the base including brown ostrich (collar, quarter panel), black nubuck (side panels) and purple premium leather (toe area). The latter color is also seen on the swoosh as well. In addition, it features a sail-colored midsole and a brown outsole. Well today is Monday and since I am STILL a wrestling fan, I figured i’d go back to my usual wearings for Raw tonight. No better reason either since my favorite stable of all time is back again, and if you’re not down with that I got two words for you …..

Nike always signs the biggest athletes to signature sneaker deals, so it’s no surprise that the Nike SB has held down Paul Rodriguez through two and a half models, reinvigorating their relationship with the release of the Nike SB Zoom P-Rod III. Available now at Caliroots , the P-Rod III features a slimmer silhouette than the previous P-Rods, a point of emphasis for this design, with a slimmer tongue and narrower sole. Keeping the colorway nice and simple, this release features a white leather base with black accents throughout, as well as a minimal red bits on the lace holes. Gone is the signature PR repetitive print from the P-Rod IIs, replaced with Paul’s signature on the tongue. The sole features Zoom technology, so these should comfort your foot, whether you’re skating or moving on foot. We showed you Paul’s “Today Was a Good Day” commercial earlier this summer. Now we have to know, if Ice Cube and Kobe can co-sign on a skate shoe, are these on your list for must-haves?
