A few weeks ago, Kim hinted that a member of her family would be going under the proverbial knife on a future eppy of Keeping Up With the Kardashians . Today, on her blog, Kim finally reveals who took a trip to the plastic surgeon and why… Ever since I revealed in recent interviews that one of my family members would be going under the plastic surgeon’s knife on the show, I’ve been inundated with emails and calls asking who it is!! I can reveal that it was my stepdad Bruce! Twenty five years ago, Bruce was ill-advised by a doctor to have a partial facelift and a nose job. Unfortunately, the result wasn’t what Bruce had hoped for and for years since then he has been the victim of cruel taunts from the media. Since he’s turning 60 in October, Bruce felt it was time to correct the mistakes made by the previous doctor so he went to a new doctor for a second facelift. The results are amazing! Bruce looks better than ever and he is extremely happy with the result. Make sure you watch Keeping Up with the Kardashians next Sunday to see what Bruce went through for his new look! I love the shades (and possibilities) in Lancome’s new Color Design Palette . It is a compact of sexy shimmers and mattes that you can easily mix and match to create your ideal day-to-night look. These come in a few different palettes, and are pretty traditional shades but the variance in texture really do make a difference. Note: Do not be one of those people who buy a compact like this and use the same color over and over.

I took a much-needed break from school yesterday, both to surprise my mom for Mother’s Day and to selfishly take some time away from studying. Since it was her holiday, she decided a trip to TJ Maxx was in order and let’s just say I didn’t take much convincing to close my art history textbook and tag along. I studied all afternoon, only instead of analyzing the difference between outsider art and feminist art, I was reviewing the merchandise inside my favorite off-price outlet. If I were being tested on the art of shopping, I would have aced the exam. I came home with a pair of strappy summertime flats that are a charming combination of trendy gladiators and little girls’ saltwater sandals . Coach.

You know you’ve hit the beauty jackpot when you can’t wait to call your mom/sister/BFF and tell her to put said product on her shopping list…which is exactly what I did after trying REN Glycolactic Skin Renewal Peel Mask , a facial treatment formulated to dramatically remove dead cells, smooth lines, and help prevent the appearance of spots and blackheads. On Saturday, after Amber gushed about her blonde bombshell transformation (at the hands of master colorist, Jason Backe ), I dished about my fab new skincare find

Last month, my friends Nikki and Jon had a destination wedding in Costa Rica and a small group of us journeyed to the beautiful Central American country to help them celebrate. The five-day trip was a perfect medley of friends, fun and sun. I did not need t-shirts, braided bracelets or other souvenirs to remind me of the trip. The best souvenir I brought back was my sun-kissed Costa Rican tan

I don’t get out much. I spend much of my time sitting on my couch, blogging it up. So when I want to indulge myself, but I’m too lazy or exhausted to pamper myself with at-home spa treatments, I simply strike a match and light an aromatic candle. As I type this, I’m inhaling the clean and soothing scent of Burn Voyage’s Silver Springs Candle . With notes of fresh water, ozone accords, pine, alpine herbs, it’s like there’s a babbling brook running through my living room.
