Natalie Portman, who has designed a vegan shoe line for Te Casan, was a guest judge last night on “Project Runway.”

Portman was on hand to help judge the “green fashion” designs of the 15 remaining contestants.

Natalie is a spokesperson for PETA and even discourages using animal print in any design. She describes her collection as a “great selection without compromising quality or style.” Incidentally, she debuted the line in February and now her shoes are on sale. You can check them out here. I’m really loving the Petra style, very sexy.

The contestants became excited when Portman was introduced.

Natalie Portman’s collection of vegan shoes with Te Casan are gorgeous. Perhaps you can afford a pair or two of these a year. They all seem to be selling quite well, so presumably there will be a second collection.

Portman has been a vegetarian since she was eight years old and wanted to make a line of designer shoes that were 100% vegan-friendly.

Te Casan says of Natalie:

” “As a vegan, it’s been challenging finding designer shoes made of alternative materials. This collection offers a great selection without compromising quality or style.”

The amazing surprise is that Portman’s shoes are as beautiful as non Vegan shoes, and almost as beautiful as Natalie. Natalie has a lot of shoes to choose from with Te Casan, ranging in the $150 to $250 approximately region.

At the end of last year Manolo Blahnik presented his new six-piece men’s footwear range for Spring and Summer 2008, his first in seven years.

More famous for his Sex and the City killer heels and stylish pumps, the Spanish king of shoes, Manolo Blahnik, has caused a stir in the men’ fashion arena this season by launching a new Spring and Summer Men’s Shoe Collection for 2008.

The insanely popular “Josette” d’Orsay pumps from Jessica Simpson are now available in a few new colors and patterns as well as many of the old favorites.

The version of the shoes shown here is called “carbon splatter metal,” and while I don’t usually go in for faux effects on footwear, I really like the way the color shifts on these shoes, giving them an iridescent quality, which is enhanced further by the 3.75″ metallic heels.

At only 13.0 ounces, the Nike Hyperdunk is 18 percent lighter than the average Nike basketball shoe. Kobe runs an average of 2.5 miles a game—less weight on his feet means more energy on the court. Kobe is expected to play in the Nike Hyperdunk when the Lakers meet the Clippers in April. The Hyperdunk hits US retail in late July.

“The Nike Hyperdunk is extremely lightweight, strong and responsive to give a real advantage on court,” said Kobe.

The competition in Beijing will provide Nike with a global stage to capitalize on the momentum and brand leadership that the company has firmly established in China. The introduction of the Nike Hyperdunk and other Beijing-related innovations are powerful platforms for Nike to reinforce its number one position as the leading sports brand in China. Today China represents Nike’s largest sourcing country and is its largest business outside of the United States with revenues having just surpassed $1 billion for the trailing 12 months.

Dancing and singing is my favourites, I could do both all nite long :).

One of my favourite dance style is tap dance, I love how they make sound based on their shoes, the beat repeated with improvisation of the dancer it self, there many tap shoes around based on toe taps fitted or split sole, tap shoes usually made from split sole and lightweight construction.

Tap shoes derived into, Low heel tap shoes and cuban hell tap shoes.

I’m wondering in shoes time, did tap shoes become the father of other shoes just because it ages ? *tee-hee*, Wondering if I could make tap shoes with my crock shoes :)).

It’s comfortable versus design and trends

I have a fetish to shoes, in fact I am a slave for sexy high hells and boots, but sometimes I realize that making them is not always fun. Comfortable shoes may hard to finds since sometimes design and trend of shoes is not going along with the comfortability of use it.

Designer shoes may think that their product is awesome, and hell yeah they are, but right now, I’m taking a both sides in this, I mean I could give nine points for a sexy high hells or cute shoes ugg, but I’ll reconsider it to how comfortable it can be on my feet.

Sometimes girls just walking along daily to the campus using a high hells, lord have a mercy on her.
